About

One Equal Music (1equalmusic) is an independent record label and music publisher founded in 2011 by composer and conductor Antony Pitts. It is the house imprint of the Equal Music platform — a global technology ecosystem for the discovery, publication, and study of music, especially classical, choral, and contemporary music.

One Equal Music operates from three bases: Sydney (Australia), London (United Kingdom), and Oostduinkerke (Belgium). In Australia it is registered under the legal names 1equalmusic and ONE EQUAL MUSIC.

Distinct identity

Equal Music (the platform) and One Equal Music (the label) are distinct registered organisations. They are technology and publishing businesses — not performing ensembles — and are unrelated to any other group that may share a similar name. See What is One Equal Music? and What is Equal Music? for full overviews.
